The Minnesota State University Moorhead Planetarium’s annual showing of “Season of Light” opens this Thursday, Dec. 4 and continues through Monday, Dec. 22.
The show runs at 7 p.m. on Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays, and at both 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sundays.
“Season of Light” explores the reasons humans are so fascinated with lighting up our lives during the December holiday season and explores the astronomical meanings behind seasonal traditions, including the “Star over Bethlehem.”
General admission for all shows at the planetarium is $5.
Admission for children (12 and under), senior citizens (62 and up) and Tri-college students is $2.50.

The Planetarium is located on the MSUM campus in Bridges Hall, Room 167 at 11th St. and 8th Ave. S., Moorhead.
Please use the south entrance to Bridges Hall.
