GRAND FORKS - Four men were arrested Thursday during a prostitution sting in Grand Forks, police said Friday.
A motel manager agreed to let police use his establishment to set up the sting.
A female officer posed as a prostitute advertised online. When potential customers showed up, they were arrested for "hiring an individual to engage in sexual activity", a Class B Misdemeanor in North Dakota. The maximum penalty is 30 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.
The motel manager told the Herald he's certain his motel has not been the scene of prostitution activity, but that he agreed to cooperate with the sting.
