Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton stages comeback to knock off Detroit Lakes in home opener

The Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton football team won four of the last five matchups on Friday night to spoil the Detroit Lakes wrestling team’s home opener.

Jordan Summers (170), Caleb Johnson (195) and Victor Sosa (285) scored fall victories to lift the Rebels over the Lakers 33-29. Bryce Fischer picked up an 8-5 decision win over Jacob Ehnert at 220-pounds to pull DGF within two points before Sosa sent the Rebels home with a victory in 2:55.

Bradly Swiers (138), Cale Abraham (160) and Cade Jackson (1:41) recorded pins for the Lakers, while Tyson Ullyott (145) and Cade Okeson (152) picked up major decision victories.

The Lakers travel to Bemidji on Thursday for their second dual of the season.
