The Detroit Lakes, Minnesota Eagles Aerie 2342 recently participated in the Nationwide Eagles “People Helping Pantries” campaign.

A total of 1,691 items were donated in cash, fresh produce and non-perishable goods. All proceeds went to the Becker County Food Pantry.

Millions of people across the United States and Canada will benefit from this campaign. Eagles clubs from 48 states and many Canadian provinces are involved to help local communities fill their food pantries.

The Detroit Lakes Eagles Aerie and Auxiliary members wish to thank the businesses, organizations and individuals that helped with and supported this local “People Helping Pantries” campaign. In addition, the Detroit Lakes Eagles Past Presidents Charitable Gaming fund has made sizeable contributions to the Becker County Food Pantry for many years.
