The 36th Annual Wolf Lake Harvest Festival is set to take place this Friday and Saturday, Aug. 16-17.
The Miss, Little Miss and Junior Miss Wolf Lake pageant kicks off the festivities at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the Wolf Lake Lions Hall. A triple meat raffle follows at 7 p.m. in the Wolf Lake Liquor, with the street dance featuring music by Tate McLane getting underway outside the liquor store at 8 p.m.
Saturday's events include a 5K run/walk at 9 a.m., Wolf Lake Park Committee brunch in the Lions Hall at 9:30, bouncy house fun at 10 a.m., a volleyball tournament at 10:30 a.m. and kids' games at 11 a.m.
Saturday afternoon's festivities start with live music from Racoon Antlers at 1 p.m., the Harvest Fest Parade at 2 p.m., obstacle course and bean bag tournament at 3 p.m., the mud run at 4 p.m., raffle drawing at 7 p.m. and, last but not least, the street dance featuring Obstruction of Justice at 8 p.m. mud run, parade, live music and more are part of the two-day event.
