Smash Mouth, Hairball to headline 2019 Bash on the Beach

It's going to be an "All Star" kind of summer: The Detroit Lakes Jaycees have announced that Smash Mouth will headline the 2019 Bash on the Beach on Saturday, July 20, as part of the 84th Northwest Water Carnival.

Eve6 ("Inside Out," "Here's to the Night") will open for the chart-topping band known for such hits as "All Star" and "Can't Get Enough of You Baby."

Hairball will also be returning to headline the Bash on the Beach lineup on Friday, July 19, with One: The Only Tribute to Metallica as their opening act.

Tickets for Hairball and One on Friday are $20, tickets to Eve6 and Smash Mouth on Saturday are $30, or you can purchase the two-night special for $40. They're on sale right now at www.dljaycees.com/bash-on-the-beach, and can also be purchased at the Detroit Lakes Chamber or Central Market.

Detroit Mountain Recreation Area announced earlier this month that country music superstar Cole Swindell will be the headliner for its 2019 Music on the Mountain fundraiser, taking place Saturday, July 6. Swindell is best known for hits such as “Ain't Worth The Whiskey,” “You Should Be Here,” “Chillin' It,” and “Middle of a Memory.” Music on the Mountain is Detroit Mountain’s largest fundraiser of the year; past headliners have included Big & Rich, Sawyer Brown and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. WE Fest 2019 has also announced its full lineup for the weekend of Aug. 1-3. In addition to headliners Brooks & Dunn, Keith Urban and Chris Stapleton (making his Soo Pass Ranch debut!), other artists to be featured at the 37th annual country music festival include Big & Rich, LeAnn Rimes, Billy Currington, Jake Owen, Jamey Johnson, LANCO, Walker Hayes, Jimmie Allen, Dylan Scott, Tyler Rich, Adam Doleac and Kelleigh Bannen.
