Official Publication County of Becker Notice of public hearing and intent to consider plan for redistricting of county commissioner districts in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 375.01 and 375.025 Notice is hereby given that on the 5th day of April, 2022 at 9:00 a.m., the Becker County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at the Becker County Courthouse, First Floor Meeting Room, 915 Lake Avenue, in the City of Detroit Lakes, for the purpose of considering proposed plan for the redistricting (re-establishment with existing boundaries) of Becker County Commissioner Districts. A copy of the proposed plan with all attachments and supporting documentation shall be available for public inspection in the office of the County Administrator during regular office hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, or on our county website. Any citizen intending to submit a plan for consideration in the redistricting of Becker County Commissioner Districts must do so no later than April 4, 2022, at 4:30 pm at the County Administrator’s Office or e-mail to redistricting@co.becker.mn.us. Notice is also given that the Becker County Board of County Commissioners will meet in the Becker County Courthouse, 915 Lake Avenue, in the City of Detroit Lakes on April 19, 2022 at the regular board meeting, for the purpose of redistricting Becker County Commissioner Districts.
