PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Regarding amending City’s Dock Ordinance 1001A.13 (Boat Lifts and Boat Slips Regulated)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Detroit Lakes will meet in the Ballroom of the Holmes Theatre, 826 Summit Avenue, on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 5:00 PM to consider amending the City’s Dock Ordinance 1001A.13 (Boat Lifts and Boat Slips Regulated) to read as follows:
Section 1001A.13 Subd. 3 of the City Code is hereby amended as follows:
Subd. 3 Boat Lift or Boat Slip with Private or Semi-Commercial Dock License. The holder of a Private Dock License or a Semi- Commercial Dock License may install or place a maximum of one (1) Boat Lift or Boat Slip in Beach Waters at a location immediately adjacent to the licensed dock during the term of the license.
Section 1001A.13 Subd. 4 of the City Code is hereby amended as follows:
Subd. 4 Boat Lifts or Boat Slips with Commercial Dock License. The holder of a Commercial Dock License may install or place a maximum of one hundred and two (102) Boat Lifts or Boat Slips in Beach Waters at locations immediately adjacent to the Licensed Commercial Dock during the term of the license.
All persons who desire to be heard with reference to the proposed City’s Dock Ordinance 1001A.13 will be heard at this meeting.
