SUMMONS
THE STATE OF MINNESOTA TO THE ABOVE-NAMED DEFENDANTS:
You, and each of you, are hereby summoned and required to serve upon plaintiff's attorney an answer to the Complaint which is on file in the office of the Court Administrator of the above-named Court, within twenty (20) days after the service of this Summons upon you, exclusive of the day of service. If you fail to do so, judgment by default will be taken against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.
This action involves, affects, and brings in question real property situated in the County of Becker, State of Minnesota, described as follows, to-wit:
That part of Government Lot 2 in Section 17, Township 142 North, Range 40 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian in Becker County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Commencing at a found iron monument which designates the northeast corner of said Government Lot 2; thence South 81 degrees 21 minutes 40 seconds West 200.00 feet on an assumed bearing along the north line of said Government Lot 2 to a found iron monument, said point is the point of beginning; thence continuing South 81 degrees 21 minutes 40 seconds West 500.00 feet along the north line of said Government Lot 2 to a found iron monument; thence South 08 degrees 38 minutes 20 seconds East 368.04 feet to a found iron monument on the northerly line of 374th Street as described in Document No. 449482 and recorded in the office of the Recorder in said County; thence North 48 degrees 02 minutes 46 seconds East 33.72 feet along the northerly line of said 374th Street to an iron monument; thence North 80 degrees 59 minutes 59 seconds East 471.83 feet continuing along the northerly line of said 374th Street to a found iron monument; thence North 08 degrees 38 minutes 20 seconds West 346.54 feet to the point of beginning. The above described tract contains 4.00 acres.

Commencing at a found iron monument which designates the northwesterly corner of Lot 12, Block 1, of R. MELBY ESTATES, said plat is on file and of record in the office of the Recorder in said County, from which the northerly line of said Lot 12 bears South 78 degrees 59 minutes 13 seconds East on an assumed bearing, said point also being on the easterly line of an existing public road (374th Street) as described in Document No. 451643 and conveyed to Maple Grove Township according to Document No. 449482 both recorded in the office of the Recorder in said County; thence North 26 degrees 03 minutes 59 seconds East 50.13 feet along the easterly line of said 374th Street to a found iron monument; thence North 12 degrees 17 minutes 17 seconds East 317.39 feet continuing along the easterly line of said 374th Street to a found iron monument; thence North 29 degrees 55 minutes 47 seconds East 50.04 feet along the southeasterly line of said 374th Street to a found iron monument; thence North 37 degrees 40 minutes 22 seconds East 250.23 feet continuing along the southeasterly line of said 374th Street to a found iron monument; thence North 40 degrees 34 minutes 12 seconds East 500.47 feet continuing along the southeasterly line of said 374th Street to a found iron monument; thence North 81 degrees 01 minute 51 seconds East 91.09 feet along the southerly line of said 374th Street to a found iron monument; thence continuing North 81 degrees 01 minute 51 seconds East 110.10 feet along the southerly line of said 374th Street to a found iron monument; thence continuing North 81 degrees 01 minute 51 seconds East 52.58 feet along the southerly line of said 374th Street to an iron monument, said point is the point of beginning; thence continuing North 81 degrees 01 minute 51 seconds East 22.49 feet along the southerly line of said 374th Street to an iron monument; thence North 48 degrees 02 minutes 46 seconds East 119.31 feet continuing along the southerly line of said 374th Street to a found iron monument; thence North 80 degrees 59 minutes 59 seconds East 50.05 feet continuing along the southerly line of said 374th Street to a found iron monument; thence South 07 degrees 33 minutes 44 seconds East 198.22 feet to a found iron monument; thence continuing South 07 degrees 33 minutes 44 seconds East 14 feet, more or less, to the water's edge of White Earth Lake; thence westerly along the water's edge of said White Earth Lake to the intersection with a line which bears South 13 degrees 58 minutes 28 seconds East from the point of beginning; thence North 13 degrees 58 minutes 28 seconds West 19 feet, more or less, to an iron monument; thence continuing North 13 degrees 58 minutes 28 seconds West 105.52 feet to the point of beginning. The above described tract contains 29,900 square feet, more or less.
Notice Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 543.22
Minnesota General Rule of Practice 114.01 provides that, "All civil cases are subject to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes, except for those actions enumerated in Minn. Stat. 484.76 and Rules 111.01 and 310.01 of these rules." These processes are set forth in Rules 114.01 through 114.13 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice for District Courts. This notice shall not modify or abrogate the Defendant's requirement to provide a formal answer to the Complaint within the time period specified above.
