KKWE 89.9 FM, Niijii Broadcasting is excited to announce the First Annual Music and Arts Gala is coming to Detroit Lakes on Friday and Saturday, April 26-27.
KKWE strives to support local musicians and artists of all genres. The Gala will be a two-day festival featuring local musicians, comedians, spoken word, sketch, and craft artists in a family friendly venue.
Vendor tables are available at no cost to local artists to display and sell their work. The number of tables is very limited, so please register by Friday, March 15.
Not only are these vendor tables offered free, KKWE will also feature an interview with the artist on air and pictures of their art will be made available at www.niijiiradio.org .
KKWE is seeking performance artists. Any performing artist who is interested in performing a 30 minute set please contact the station early and submit a sample of your performance for consideration to info@niijiiradio.com .

Performing artists will receive compensation for their performance, so these time slots are very limited. To benefit our artists, each one will be interviewed and their art featured on air in a program produced by KKWE.
Organizers are seeking to fill the Holmes Theatre Ballroom, located at 826 Summit Avenue, with artists from local communities and throughout the state of Minnesota.
