Texas native Rodney Carrington built a cult following by speaking on syndicated morning radio shows while also touring the nation as a comedian.
His first comedy album, “Hangin’ with Rodney,” debuted in 1998, and he’s since recorded seven more Top 10 albums featuring a mix of standup comedy and country music.
His 2000 album, “Morning Wood,” earned gold certification, followed by the platinum-selling “Greatest Hits” album.

“Laughter’s Good,” Carrington’s most recent album, debuted at No. 1 on the Overall Comedy Charts in the fall of 2014.
The Western-clad Carrington has found success on-screen as well. In 2004, Carrington landed his own sitcom on ABC, self-titled “Rodney.”
Four years later, he teamed up with Toby Keith to co-write and co-star in the feature film, “Beer For My Horses,” which won the 2009 Tex Ritter Award from the Academy of Country Music.
Carrington continues to grow in popularity with the raw, honest humor heard in his eight comedy albums, which have sold more than three million copies.
