If Gavin Luksik missed the trip from Bemidji to Detroit Lakes, Tuesday’s boys basketball game could’ve looked a lot differently.

Luksik had a game-high 32 points in the Lumberjacks’ (3-3) 85-54 win over the Lakers (1-4). Isaac Severts and Ethan Biehn added 15 and 11 points for Bemidji in the win.

Devon Berg was one of the biggest contributors for the Lakers as he had 11 points off the bench. Chris Breeden also had 11 points as he went 3-for-7 from three-point range.

Detroit Lakes’ next game is on Jan. 4 in the new Lakeshorts Fieldhouse. It’s part of a doubleheader, where the girls basketball team will host St. Cloud Apollo before the boys host Perham.
