The Ladies Women’s Missionary League (LWML) Detroit Lakes Zone is having their Spring Rally on Friday, April 25, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Rural Vergas (Loon Lake).
The Rally is from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Theme of the day is “God Alone is Our Rock.”
Rev. Aufdenkamp from Bethlehem Lutheran in Frazee will speak about their mission trip to Guatemala.
The agenda for the day also includes a Bible study by Rev. Booe from St. John’s Corliss, election of zone officers, and welcoming and prayers from Rev. Robert Hinckley. Lunch will also be served by the St. Paul’s Ladies.
In addition, the LWML DL Zone will also be collecting items to be distributed to area Veteran Homes. These items include Clothing Savers, toothpaste, tooth brushes, and stick deodorant. In addition, used tennis shoes are being collected for Lutheran Island Camp.
