Before joining the Forum team in 2022 I did some freelance writing. Post-college I worked first at a local nonprofit and then at an engineering firm. I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2018 with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Hispanic Studies. I grew up in Park Rapids, MN, but spent my first decade on earth coast-hopping till my dad retired from the Coast Guard.
I currently live in Fargo. I'm passionate about community events, backpacking, gardening, and my cats. And local news, of course!
