Sen. Kent Eken and Rep. Paul Marquart will hold a town meeting Friday, April 22 at the Detroit Lakes City Hall at 2 p.m. to hear from residents on important issues impacting the area.
Sen. Eken and Rep. Marquart will hold eight town meetings that day around Legislative District 4. Legislative District 4 includes Becker, Clay and Norman counties.
“It’s very valuable to hear residents’ thoughts and comments on the issues the legislature is facing this session,” Eken said. “Everyone is invited to attend the meeting and is encouraged to be part of the discussion as we look at issues impacting residents here in rural Minnesota,” Marquart said.

Friday, April 22: 8 a.m., Halstad Telephone Company Community Room; 9:30 a.m., Ada City Hall; 11 a.m., Twin Valley Community Center; 12:30 p.m., Ulen City Hall; 2 p.m., Detroit Lakes City Hall; 4 p.m., Hawley City Hall; 5:30 p.m., Dilworth City Hall; 7 p.m., Barnesville City Hall.
