As part of their ongoing activity to raise funds and bring awareness for the American Cancer Society, the Lake Park-Audubon FCCLA chapter sponsored a "Crazy Costume" contest, with a crowning of an April Fool and cream pies in the face of faculty members.
The total activities for the week brought in $425, which will be donated to the American Cancer Society. So far this school year, the chapter has raised over $2,200 for the cause and has two more activities planned.
Students voted on the candidate they thought had the craziest costume, and the winning contestant was crowned the April Fool, which was Nathan LaPoint.
Class presidents that had the lowest money collected received cream pies in the face from the April Fool. Students and faculty lined up to pay $5 per pie to cream one of three faculty members, Andrew Schwan, Reed Weiseburger and Darin Myhre.
