FARGO – Two people were arrested Wednesday morning, June 20, after ramming a truck into a home in Fargo’s Bluemont Lakes neighborhood south of Interstate 94 and east of Interstate 29.

Fargo Police tracked down 24-year-old Damien Troy and a passenger who allegedly fled the scene. Authorities said alcohol was a factor in the crash.

The passenger was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Police said Troy will be charged with reckless endangerment, DUI and failing to stop and remain at the scene of an injury.

A report of a vehicle crashing into a home came in around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Fire and police crews responded and found a truck had gone through a fence and into the house, causing serious damage.

The crash woke the family inside the home, but none of them were hurt.

Family members told WDAY-TV that they were upstairs when the crash happened.
