Vergas man hurt when cargo van rolls on Highway 10
A Vergas man was injured Thursday when the cargo van he was driving left the roadway and rolled into the ditch.
Todd Vincent Sandahl, 60 of Vergas was taken to the Perham hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt. No alcohol was involved.
According to the State Patrol, he was driving a 2004 GMC Savana cargo van eastbound on Highway 10 when he lost control on bridge deck. The van went into the south ditch and rolled. The driver was treated and released from the Perham hospital.
The accident was reported shortly after 4 p.m. on Highway 10 near County Road 53, Pine Lake Township, Otter Tail County. Road conditions were snowy and icy. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office and Perham Ambulance assisted at the scene.
