Frazee couple injured in Highway 10 crash in Clay County

Two Frazee residents were injured Tuesday morning when their pickup truck lost control on a slippery Highway 10 and hit a concrete barrier on the Buffalo River Bridge in Clay County.

Frank Lynn Noyes, 80, and Judith Jean Noyes, 78, both of Frazee, suffered non life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol. He was taken to the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fargo. She was not taken to a healthcare facility.

They were traveling westbound on Highway 10 in a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado and lost control. The Silverado ran off the road, to the left, and struck the concrete barrier on the Buffalo River Bridge, in Riverton Township, Clay County.

Both were wearing seatbelts. The pickup truck's airbag did not deploy. No alcohol was involved.

The crash was reported at 9:57 a.m. Tuesday in snowy and icy road conditions. FM Ambulance and the Glyndon Fire Department assisted at the scene.
