A traffic fatality was reported Wednesday evening in Mahnomen County.
At approximately 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, there was a report of a two-vehicle accident on 250th Street, east of Mahnomen County Road 3. The road is gravel, and the two vehicles met head-on at the crest of a hill.
There were a total of seven people involved in the accident; four adults and three children. All seven were injured, one fatally. Six of the victims involved were flown to Fargo via Life Flight, and one was transported via ambulance.
Mahnomen County Sheriff Josh Guenther said that his department would not be releasing the name of the person who was killed at this time, pending notification of family members.
