A Perham woman was hurt after her vehicle went into the ditch along Highway 10 on Friday, July 12.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 28-year-old Diara Lashay Hill was taken to Lakewood Health in Staples to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries after her 2008 Saturn Aurora left the highway and drove into the ditch. The crash occurred on dry pavement near Highway 10's intersection with 241st Street in Staples Township, at 1:25 p.m.
Hill was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Staples police, fire and ambulance personnel assisted the state patrol at the scene.
