No one was injured in a rollover accident on icy U.S. Highway 10 Tuesday, one of several accidents and slide-offs reported.
John Cady, 52, from Detroit Lakes was westbound on Highway 10 at 11:50 a.m. when he rolled his Chevrolet pickup into the right-side ditch, according to an email from State Patrol Sergeant Jesse Grabow Tuesday evening. Cady was not injured.
Multiple emergency medical responders, the Minnesota State Patrol, Becker County Sheriff's Department and Detroit Lakes Police Department were at the scene.
According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, road conditions from Hawley to Wadena are at least partially covered with ice throughout the day. The pavement was treated, but roads were still slippery.
