A Grand Forks woman told police her boyfriend raped her even after she made it crystal clear that the sex was not consensual.
The woman reported that her boyfriend, Steven Aman, 26, pushed her face down onto a bed in her apartment Monday and sat on her back, then shoved her face into pillows, making comments such as "This is the end" and "I am going to kill you."
She said she was suffocated to the point that she saw stars and thought she was going to die, states an officer's report filed in court.
The report says she pleaded with Aman to let her leave the bedroom.
"I'll let you go if you have sex with me," Aman allegedly told her.

The report says "she was so scared of what he was going to do she gave in and had sex with him."
She told police that as Aman pulled off her pants, he asked, "Is this considered rape?" and she replied, "Yes, it is."
After about 20 minutes of intercourse, the victim got free and ran into her son's room. Aman kicked the door and told her to come back into the bedroom.
When she took too long in returning, the report says, Aman got a knife from the kitchen and said he was going to cut her throat. He then left the apartment.
Police later found Aman at the Grand Forks Wal-Mart. He ran through the store at 2551 32nd Ave. S. to get away from officers, but they caught him on 36th Avenue South.
Aman, of Grand Forks, is charged with gross sexual imposition, aggravated assault, terrorizing and failure to halt. The charge of gross sexual imposition carries a maximum of life in prison without parole.
He made his initial appearance Tuesday in state District Court without an attorney. His bail was set at $151,000, and a preliminary hearing was slated for Aug. 9.
As of Tuesday evening, Aman was being held at the Grand Forks County jail. Messages left for him there were not returned Tuesday.
