Minnesota legislators narrowly passed a bill Monday that will mean a significant minimum wage increase of $3 an hour between this summer and 2016 for what are considered "large" businesses. Employees currently making $6.15 may see their wages go up to $9.50 if the business they are working for grosses over $500,000 a year. The bill also includes language that could link minimum wage to inflation, which would mean automatic raises every year.
