Arlene C. Nunn, 66, of Detroit Lakes, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Arlene Carol Anderson was born to Durward Peder and Amanda Gamine (Nerison) Anderson on Aug. 22, 1939 in Minneapolis, where she lived and attended high school. She later attended Gustavus Adolphus Collage in St. Peter, Minn., and the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities.
Arlene married David Charles Miller in 1960 and Warren Alfred Nunn in 1981. She worked for many engineers at National Contractor, Modular Electronics and Rosemont Engineering in Minneapolis. She also worked for Deveau Music, Barrett Mobile Home Transport, Cahill Law Firm and Kisselner and Baker Law Offices, all in the Fargo-Moorhead area. In Detroit Lakes, she worked for Irvin, Ramstad, Quam and Briggs Law Firm, First National Bank, and at Norwest and Wells Fargo banks as secretary for the president.
Arlene enjoyed her winters in Arizona, especially playing card games such as whist, pinochle, cribbage, "500" and euchre. She also enjoyed singing in three choirs, bowling, golf, crafts, quilting, cross-stitching, plastic canvas, fishing and watching her favorite football team, the Minnesota Vikings.

Arlene is survived by husband Warren Nunn of Detroit Lakes; a daughter, Lisa Lynn Jacobs of Watertown, Minn.; son, Richard Wesley Miller of Scottsdale, Ariz.; stepdaughter, Patty Nunn (Mike LaCuorsiere) of Frazee; a stepson, Greg Nunn of Omaha, Neb.; a brother, David Anderson of Las Vegas, Nev.; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, April 22 at the David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, and will continue for one hour prior to services at the church Sunday.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at Zion Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes with the Rev. Dan Abrahams officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, rural Detroit Lakes.
