A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Detroit Lakes man on two felony counts of selling drugs.
Cameron James Stoen, 22, of 504 E. State St., Detroit Lakes, has been charged with two separate counts of second-degree controlled substance crime-sale.
The charges stem from four separate instances in which Stoen allegedly sold methamphetamines to a confidential informant of the West Central Minnesota Drug Task Force. The alleged sales took place in the parking lot of a Detroit Lakes gas station between Sept. 1 and Sept. 27, 2010.
A total of five grams of meth were purchased for $1,350 in the alleged incidents. In one incident, Stoen only produced about half of the agreed upon amount of meth, saying that he would "make good" on the remaining amount as soon as possible.
Stoen is also facing an unrelated felony charge of drug possession in connection with a Dec. 18, 2010 incident in Detroit Lakes, and had previously been convicted of a drug crime in 2008, according to the complaint.
