An Atlanta man is in the Becker County Jail in Detroit Lakes after a burglary arrest Friday morning.
Scott Paul Roy, 36, was arrested after Becker County sheriff's deputies and White Earth police responded at 5:35 a.m. to a burglary report at
M & W Foods convenience store in White Earth, the Becker County Sheriff's Department said.
The owner of the store, who lives in the same building, told police he was awakened and confronted a man who had forced entry into the business.
The man fled but was found in some nearby woods. He was arrested without incident.
