Becker County doesn't appear to be taking on the "Second Amendment sanctuaries" question anytime soon.

"As of today, there is no request for consideration," Becker County Administrator Mike Brethorst told the Tribune Thursday.

In recent days, Wadena, Clearwater and Marshall counties joined Roseau County in declaring themselves "sanctuaries," which essentially state the community's intent to refuse to use local resources to restrict the Second Amendment.
