An 87-year-old Alexandria man died from injuries he suffered in a bicycle-pickup crash north of Alexandria Saturday.
Don R. Keith was bicycling south on Highway 29 near Birch Avenue when he collided with a 1997 Ford pickup driven by Nick R. Jalbert, 26 of Alexandria, which was also traveling south.
The crash happened at about 2:20 p.m. No other injuries were reported.
Keith was transported by North Ambulance to the Douglas County Hospital but he died later that night.
