At their November meeting, the Lake Agassiz Regional Library (LARL) Board elected officers and the Executive Committee for 2013.
They are Robert (Bob) Perry, president (Wilkin County); Paul Bursik, vice president (Becker County); Betsy Vinz, treasurer (City of Moorhead).
Members-At-Large are Craig Buness (Polk County); John Chevalier (Clearwater County); Evie Fox (City of Breckenridge); Wayne Ingersoll (Clay County).
The LARL Board is composed of 23 individuals (citizens and elected officials) representing the seven counties and five cities, which formed a joint powers agreement to create LARL.
LARL is a consolidated public library system serving over 142,000 residents in a seven-county region of northwest Minnesota. LARL operates 13 branches and 10 LINK sites in Becker, Clay, Clearwater, Mahnomen, Norman, Polk and Wilkin counties. LARL Administrative Offices are located in the lower level of Moorhead Library.
