An inurnment and gathering of friends for Christopher R. Edwards, who died on Monday, April 21, 2008, is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Richwood Lutheran Cemetery in Richwood Township, with full military honors provided by the Detroit Lakes area veterans.
Surviving family includes his wife, Becky (Gandrud) Edwards of Grand Rapids, children, Dawn (Tom) Johnson of Vancouver, Wash., Michael (Amy) Heinlein of Eagan, Minn., Rachel (Steve) Gardner of Rochester, Wash., Keith (Stacy) Heinlein of Detroit Lakes, Sally (Chris) Kaml of Grand Rapids, Minn.; brothers, Stephen Edwards of La Jolla, Calif., Matthew (Priscilla) Edwards of Palm City, Fla., Andrew Rames of Mexico City, Mexico; sister, Mary Louise Edwards of Boulder, Colo.; mother-in-law, Vernice Gandrud of Detroit Lakes; 11 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
