Construction improvements have begun on County Highway 26 near Ponsford, according to the Becker County Highway Department.
The project limits are from Country Road 129 in Ponsford to 520th Avenue. The project consists of reconstruction, aggregate base and bituminous surfacing, according to a county release.
Due to the construction, the roadway will be closed to through traffic. The detour will include State Highway 34 and county highways 39 and 26, according to the release.
