At 12:55 p.m. a caller reported a fire at a cemetery on the 26000 block of Broadway Avenue in Detroit Lakes.
At 2:52 p.m. a caller reported finding a debit card in a stolen vehicle on the 500 block of Richwood Road.
At 3:44 p.m. a caller reported someone burning leaves on the corner of 142nd Street and Highway 5 in Lake Park.
At 3:52 p.m. emergency crews responded to a fire that caught beneath a lawnmower while someone was mowing their lawn on the corner of Woodrow Avenue and Willow Street in Detroit Lakes.
At 5:13 p.m. computers were reportedly stolen from the 600 block of Highway 10 in Detroit Lakes.
At 6:22 p.m. a caller reported a leaf fire burning close to a house on the 28000 block of Little Floyd Lake Road.
Thursday, Oct. 19
At 11:40 a.m. a drill was reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 1100 block of Phinney Avenue in Detroit Lakes, but the tool was later recovered.
At 11:55 a.m. a caller reported a maroon truck ran over a 9-1-1 sign on the 30000 block of Pleasant View and left the scene.
At 7:02 p.m. a fishing rod was reportedly stolen from a pontoon on the 24000 block of Highway 10 in Detroit Lakes.
At 11:19 p.m. a cellphone was reportedly stolen from the 32000 block of Mary Yellowhead Road in Ogema.
Friday, Oct. 20
At 6:01 a.m. a fire was reported on Sauers Lake Lane in Detroit Lakes.
At 11:50 a.m. three hats were reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage on the 20000 block of County Road 131 in Detroit Lakes.
At 12:24 p.m. emergency crews responded to a fire at the compost site on the corner of County Road 147 and Mill Pond Drive in Detroit Lakes.
At 12:57 p.m. a caller reported someone had illegally entered a storage shed on the 1200 block of Jackson Avenue. They suspected someone had entered the unit because there was graffiti written on the wall that the unit renter had not noticed earlier; however, when an officer inspected the writing, it was estimated the deed had been done a long time ago.
At 2:03 p.m. an ATV was reportedly stolen from a shed on the 21000 block of County Road 117 in Osage, but the vehicle was later found in a ditch.
At 10:01 p.m. the Vergas Fire Department responded to a barn fire on the 51000 block of Milky Way Road in Vergas. The Frazee and Detroit Lakes fire departments assisted with the fire.
At 11:03 p.m. a caller reported someone lit a display sweatshirt on fire at the Hub 41.
Saturday, Oct. 21
At 2:32 a.m. a caller reported a bike had been stolen from the 1100 block of Highway 10 in Detroit Lakes.
At 8:55 p.m. a caller reported hearing a burst of gunshots fired on the 39000 block of Village Drive in Waubun. Officers are still searching for the person responsible for the fire.
Sunday, Oct. 22
At 4:05 p.m. emergency crews responded to a garage fire on the 500 block of Curry Avenue in Detroit Lakes.
Monday, Oct. 23
At 8:42 a.m. emergency crews responded to a fire at the Detroit Lakes compost site on the corner of Mill Pond Drive and County Road 147.
At 4:47 p.m. emergency crews responded to a smoke alarm going off in an apartment building on the 200 block of Barbara Avenue in Detroit Lakes; however, it was a false alarm. There was no smoke on any of the three apartment building's levels.
