Tuesday, Sept. 4
At 3:23 a.m. a caller reported a burglary at a home on the 46000 block of Native Loop in Ponsford.
At 7:40 a.m. a shed on the 35000 block of County Road 157 in Ulen was reportedly broken into and ply board, air tubes, and jacks were taken.
At 4:12 p.m. a caller reported property damage done at the courthouse in Detroit Lakes.
At 4:39 p.m. a vehicle was reportedly stolen from the 200 block of Barb Avenue in Detroit Lakes. The automobile was later recovered.
Wednesday, Sept. 5
At 11:39 a.m. a caller reported someone throwing trash in the garbage bins at the Detroit Lakes Community and Cultural Center.
At 11:54 a.m. a bike was reportedly stolen from the 1000 block of Roosevelt Avenue in Detroit Lakes.
At 12:24 p.m. a mailbox on the 54000 block of Highway 40 in Menahga was vandalized.
At 1:52 p.m. a fence surrounding a property on the 30000 block of Highway 10 in Frazee was cut.
At 4:40 p.m. a computer, keyboard, mouse, and monitor were reportedly stolen from the DLHS football field press box.
At 4:48 p.m. a caller reported damage done to a jeep parked on the 28000 block of County Road 157 in Hitterdal. Apparently, there was a gray, sticky substance left on the hood of the vehicle.
At 5:54 p.m. a Pontiac Grand Prix was reportedly stolen from the 500 block of Jennifer Street in Audubon.
Thursday, Sept. 6
At 2:04 a.m. emergency crews responded to a house fire on the 21000 block of 470th Avenue in Osage, where flames were coming from the roof of the residence.
At 6:14 a.m. emergency crews responded to a grass fire on West Lake Drive and the Pelican River.
At 4:56 p.m. a home on the 38000 block of 400th Avenue in Waubun was reportedly broken into and items were missing from the residence.
At 4:58 p.m. a caller reported a dog missing from a front yard on the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue in Detroit Lakes. The caller stated the dog was on a leash. It was later recovered from the Marshmallow Foundation.
Friday, Sept. 7
At 6:38 p.m. a caller reported a car stolen from the 100 block of Second Avenue in Callaway.
Saturday, Sept. 8
At 11:03 a.m. tools were reportedly stolen from an unlocked garage on the 1100 block of Linden Lane in Detroit Lakes.
At 12:40 p.m. a caller reported seeing black smoke near Anderson Lake Road.
At 2:33 p.m. tools were reportedly stolen from an unlocked garage on the 1100 block of Campbell Avenue in Detroit Lakes.
At 3:06 p.m. a caller reported a vehicle had been keyed while parked on the 55000 block of Highway 44 in Park Rapids.
At 3:53 p.m. the tires of a vehicle parked on the 300 block of Eleventh Avenue in Detroit Lakes were reportedly slashed.
At 4:33 p.m. a caller reported a potato fell off a truck and damaged the vehicle travelling behind it near the corner of Highway 26 and 520th Avenue.
At 5:21 p.m. a caller reported finding an unattended burn in a burn barrel on the 700 block of Sixth Street in Audubon.
At 6:24 p.m. a caller reported the theft of a pontoon canopy from the 1600 block of Long Bridge Road in Detroit Lakes.
Sunday, Sept. 9
At 11:30 a.m. a trail camera was reportedly stolen from the corner of Highway 26 and Highway 39 in Ponsford.
At 11:48 a.m. a utility trailer containing a generator was stolen from the 1100 block of Highway 59 in Detroit Lakes.
At 2:33 p.m. snacks were reportedly stolen from the concessions stand at Rossman Elementary.
At 5:05 p.m. a thief reportedly removed boards from the wall of a shed to gain entry and steal tools from the building.
Monday, Sept. 10
At 8:36 a.m. a caller reported gas had been siphoned out of two cars parked on the 20000 block of Highway 21 in Detroit Lakes.
At 9:05 a.m. emergency crews responded to a fire on the 26000 block of Crane Road in Ogema.
At 11:07 a.m. $4,000 cash was reportedly stolen from a residence on the 25000 block of Highway 21 in Detroit Lakes.
At 2:23 p.m. a bike was reportedly stolen from the Detroit Lakes Public Library.
At 2:34 p.m. a caller reported the theft of a change jar from a residence on the 100 block of Willow Street in Detroit Lakes.
At 3:05 p.m. a paddle board, bike, and kayak were reportedly stolen from a yard on the 700 block of West Lake Drive.
At 8:19 p.m. a caller reported the theft of keys from the backseat of a pickup while it was parked on the 10000 block of Highway 5 in Pelican Rapids with its windows left rolled down.
