Man gets 19 months for stealing car at Northside bar
Justin James Thompson, 30, of Moorhead has been sentenced in Becker County District Court for felony theft.
A felony theft of a motor vehicle charge was dropped in a plea agreement.

Thompson was caught on surveillance video going through all the vehicles parked there and eventually taking the Yukon shortly after 1 a.m. He left it at the garage of a woman he knew, saying he was going to check the lights and mechanical work.
Thompson appeared in Becker County District Court May 21 before District Judge Jay Carlson, who sentenced him to 19 months in prison at St. Cloud. He was ordered to pay a $50 fine and $215 courts fees, as well as $1,490 in restitution. The sentence will be served concurrently with another case.
