Two Detroit Lakes men are accused of taking a pickup truck from a garage in Lake Park.
Isac L.J. Coufal, 21, and Piarre De Wilson, 33, were both charged in Becker County District Court with felony receiving stolen property and felony third-degree burglary.
According to court records, on June 13 the pickup was reported stolen from a building in Lake Park. On July 30 it was found in Clay County. The owner of the property there said Coufal had been using the truck.
Coufal admitted to an investigator that he and Wilson had taken the pickup, according to court records. Wilson said the door to the garage was unlocked, Coufal had the ignition key, and they put the truck in neutral so it could be towed.
On Sept. 9, District Judge Peter Irvine issued a summons for Wilson to appear in court Sept. 30 and Coufal to appear Oct. 10.
Bail set at $40K for Ogema man accused of selling meth
Todd Allen Bellanger Jr., 31, of rural Ogema was charged in Becker County District Court with felony first-degree controlled substance crime.
According to court records, on March 11, he sold 30.1 grams of meth, with packaging, to a confidential reliable informant with the Paul Bunyan Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, on the White Earth Reservation.
On Sept. 17, Bellanger appeared before District Judge Gretchen Thilmony, who set bond at $40,000, with standard conditions of release, or bond at $80,000 with no conditions of release. His next court appearance is Oct. 14.
Frazee woman accused of stealing from employer
Christine June Bowdish, 56, of rural Frazee, was charged in Becker County District Court with felony theft.
Bowdish is accused of stealing $1,185 worth of items May 8-14 from the store in Frazee where she worked, according to court records. A June 24 search of her residence on an unrelated matter revealed numerous totes that matched the description of ones stolen from the business.
On Sept. 9, District Judge Peter Irvine issued a summons for Meier to appear in court Oct. 10.
