An omnibus hearing for Ronald Wayne Elias Thompson III, who is accused of murder in the June 9 shooting death of a White Earth man, has been postponed to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 6.

Thompson was charged in Becker County District Court with two felony counts of second-degree murder, and a felony charge of possessing a gun after being convicted of a crime of violence.

He is accused of killing Jamie Lee Bevins Jr., 27, of White Earth, at a graduation party near Strawberry Lake.

According to court records, multiple witnesses identified Thompson as the shooter. He fled the scene and was arrested June 21 in St. Cloud, with a 9mm pistol next to him at the time of his arrest, according to court documents.

He remains in the Becker County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bail.
