Anthony Leroy Vasecka, 29, of Mahnomen, was charged in Becker County District with felony fifth-degree controlled substance crime.
According to court records, on Feb. 7 he went to the Becker County Jail to bail out an inmate there. Jail personnel found Vasecka was wanted on an active warrant, and he was arrested and searched. In his pocket was found a pouch containing 0.17 grams of meth and three hypodermic needles, according to court records.
Vasecka is on probation for a felony fifth-degree controlled substance crime conviction in 2018.
Vasecka appeared in court Feb. 10 before District Judge Steven Cahill, who set cash bail at $1,000 or bond at $10,000, with standard conditions of release, or bond at $20,000 with no conditions.
