White Earth Police Department officials say Levi Brandin Jerome, 32, was arrested Monday, Nov. 23, in Devils Lake, N.D., in connection with a Nov. 11 armed robbery at the M&W Convenience Store in Ogema.
Jerome was arrested without incident and is being held at the Lake Region Correctional Center in Devils Lake, pending extradition back to Becker County. He has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony first-degree aggravated robbery, felony second-degree assault, and felony possession of ammunition or a firearm, after being convicted of a crime of violence, according to a White Earth news release. The case remains under investigation.
Assisting the White Earth Police Department with the case is the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force, the Detroit Lakes Police Department, the Devils Lake Police Department, and the Lake Region Narcotics Task Force.
