The following reports were compiled from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office and Detroit Lakes Police Department from an official with knowledge of the cases, unless otherwise noted.
Tuesday, Jan. 12
At 9:25 a.m., Frazee, an unknown young female struck up a conversation with the caller on Facebook and sent the caller some explicit photographs. The caller sent explicit photographs of themself back to the female and the female threatened to expose them if the caller didn’t pay them.
At 11:23a.m., on the 25000 block of Brandy Lake Road, Detroit Lakes, a firearm was stolen from a residence. The caller believes they know the suspect..
At 4:50 p.m., on the 12000 block of County Road 17, Detroit Lakes, two large logs were intentionally placed on a snowmobile trail. The responding officer moved the logs.
At 5:24p.m., on the 1300 block of Pelican Lane, Detroit Lakes, a wallet and cash were stolen from a room that a guest was staying in.
At 7:10 p.m., on the 600 block of 2nd Street, Frazee, a cash card and money were stolen from a residence. The cash card was used at a gas station.
Wednesday, Jan. 13
At 7:53 a.m., on the 48000 block of Pow Wow Highway, Ponsford, a caller believed their work computer was hacked.
At 12:25 p.m., on the 25000 block of Bear Clan Drive, Ogema, a door of a residence was kicked in; nothing reported missing.
