Thursday, Sept. 2

6:53 a.m., 28000 block Old School Road, Ponsford, door to a residence found kicked in and various items were reported missing.

2:44 p.m., 1200 block Rossman Avenue, Detroit Lakes, a yellow and black colored bike with a headlight and tail light was found.

3:56 p.m., 900 block east Highway 34, Detroit Lakes, damage to a parked vehicle.

3:59 p.m., 300 block 11th Avenue, Detroit Lakes, Air Pods were stolen.

3:59 p.m., 600 block Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, suicide related. A 46-year-old male was transported to a nearby medical clinic for evaluation.

Friday, Sept. 3

4:34 a.m., 28000 block Little Floyd Lake Road, Detroit Lakes, burglary. Unknown items stolen from the residence. A silver, 2008 Chevrolet HHR was also stolen.

9:30 a.m., near County Road 22 and 130th Street, Detroit Lakes, vehicle damaged during WE Fest.

12:29 p.m., 800 block Summit Avenue, Detroit Lakes, phone scam. Individual reports losing between $5,000 to $6,000 to the scammer.

1:04 p.m., 500 block Richwood Road, Detroit Lakes, suicide related. A female party was transported to a nearby medical clinic for evaluation.

1:28 p.m., near County Road 126 and County Road 37, Detroit Lakes, threats. A male party threatened to shoot the caller; under investigation.

2:38 p.m., 23000 block Bernie’s Road, Osage, suicide related. A 24-year-old male was sniffing gasoline for about an hour. He was taken via personal vehicle to a clinic.

4:43 p.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.

5:20 p.m., near Highway 10 and Askleson Drive, Lake Park, multiple vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.

7:30 p.m., near mile marker 42 on Highway 34, Detroit Lakes, two-vehicle, head-on crash. Emergency medical services provided onsite.

9:44 p.m., 20000 block County Road 21, Detroit Lakes, attempted intentional overdose using heroin. The party was transported to a nearby medical clinic for treatment.

10:25 p.m., 800 block Rossman Avenue, Detroit Lakes, alleged inappropriate sexual conduct involving a juvenile; under investigation.

Saturday, Sept. 4

2:55 a.m., 900 block Summit Avenue, Detroit Lakes, physical domestic incident. No medical attention needed and no arrests made. The parties have been separated.

8:54 a.m., 25000 block County Road 6, Detroit Lakes, catalytic converter stolen off an RV in a storage facility.

1:02 p.m., 14000 block County Road 15, Detroit Lakes, mail stolen.

4:24 p.m., 1700 block Brainard Boulevard, Detroit Lakes, vehicle damaged on Sept. 3.

7:41 p.m., near Big Cormorant Lake, beach fire with about 20 people gathered nearby. Caller believed the fire was too close to the water.

10:47 p.m., near 295th Avenue and Doris Drive, Ogema, male suspect caught in an attempted burglary.

11:20 p.m., 800 block east Central Street, Detroit Lakes, unauthorized use of a silver, 2003 Chrysler Concorde.

Sunday, Sept. 5

1:56 a.m., near Highway 59 and County Road 17, Detroit Lakes, two-vehicle crash. One of the drivers suffered a head injury. A 26-year-old male and a 44-year-old male were airlifted to a nearby medical clinic for treatment.

3:05 a.m., 27000 block County Road 9, Lake Park, fatality from an apparent drug overdose. Four doses of Narcan and CPR was performed on a 22-year-old male who was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.

5:32 a.m., 36000 block County Road 21, Ogema, trailer house on fire. The occupants were out of town during the fire.

9:24 a.m., near Highland Drive and 8th Street, Detroit Lakes, attempted catalytic converter theft. Item was not completely removed from the vehicle.

10:43 a.m., near south Shell Lake Road and 455th Avenue, Osage, multiple road signs stolen.

11:38 a.m., near mile marker 39 on Highway 10, Becker County, single vehicle abandoned in a roadside ditch.

1:15 p.m., 25000 block Brandy Lake Boulevard, Detroit Lakes, property damaged by heavy equipment.

2:07 p.m., near Highway 34 and County Road 39, Osage, truck carrying hay on fire. The trailer was disconnected and vehicle fire was extinguished by passersby.

2:51 p.m., near the south Detroit Lake boat access, a pickup truck stuck in the lake.

3:19 p.m., 400 block east Willow Street, Detroit Lakes, caller claims someone in a vehicle pointed a gun at them. Suspect vehicle was not found. The incident is under investigation.

3:28 p.m., near mile marker 52 of Highway 34, Becker County, two-vehicle crash. No injuries reported.

4:38 p.m., 32000 block Highway 10, Frazee, scam. Caller reports losing up to $5,000.

5:20 p.m., near 5th Street, Lake Park, two vehicles were causing property damage to a yard. The case is under investigation.

7:23 p.m., 17000 block Otto Zeck Road, Detroit Lakes, a drone was shot at while it was hovering above a location. No damage to the drone was reported.

9:11 p.m., 2000 block 2nd Street, Lake Park, rotten odor reported by Casey’s General Store. A party was pumping a substance into the street.

9:54 p.m., 100 block Wisconsin Street, Callaway, mother-daughter involved in a physical domestic incident. One arrest was made and no medical transport was needed.

11:11 p.m., 26000 block Whiskey Creek Drive, Detroit Lakes, unauthorized credit card use.

Monday, Sept. 6

6:51 a.m., 24000 block County Road 6, Detroit Lakes, unknown medical incident. CPR was performed on a female party. Unknown condition or transport status.

9:52 a.m., near mile marker 65 on Highway 34, Becker County, vehicle fire. All occupants evacuated. Vehicle was towed.

10:05 a.m., 17000 block 190th Avenue, Audubon, package theft.

10:22 a.m., 700 block Broadway Avenue, Detroit Lakes, gas leak caused by a trencher. The gas was shut off and incident was cleared by the Detroit Lakes Fire Department.

11:07 a.m., 400 block Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, domestic incident. No medical attention needed and no arrests made. Parties agreed to go their separate ways.

11:25 a.m., 500 block south Washington Avenue, Detroit Lakes, suicide related. A friend of the individual agreed to look after the involved party.

12:39 p.m., at the Becker County Jail at 1428 Stony Road, Detroit Lakes, an inmate did not return to jail at the agreed upon time.

2:58 p.m., 29000 block Tageto Road, Ogema, burglary. Incident occurred last week. Tools, CD player, keys to their camper and liquor was stolen.

7:50 p.m., 37000 block southwest Height of Land Drive, Rochert, assault involving two male parties. No medical attention needed and no arrests made.

Tuesday, Sept. 7

8:49 a.m., 11000 block Highway 10, Lake Park, residence in the middle of a remodel burglarized. A drywall screw gun is missing.

9:36 a.m., 25000 block County Road 21, Detroit Lakes, an equipment shed burglarized at Lund Lutheran Church. Various tools reported missing. No entry gained to the main church building.

10:31 a.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, a customer lost a wallet on the property last week.

1:55 p.m., at the Becker County Sheriff’s Office at 925 Lake Avenue, Detroit Lakes, a training hand grenade was given to law enforcement by an individual

Wednesday, Sept. 8

4:27 p.m., 13000 block Dale Beach Lane, Lake Park, unemployment claim fraud.

4:32 p.m., 700 block Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, vehicle struck building. A 23-year old woman said her foot became stuck underneath the brake pedal and prevented her from stopping before striking the structure. No injuries were reported.

7:35 p.m., near South Shore Drive, Detroit Lakes, pursuit. The driver of a motorcycle failed to stop at the direction of law enforcement. One person was arrested.
