The following reports were compiled from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office and Detroit Lakes Police Department from an official with knowledge of the cases, unless otherwise noted.

Thursday, Sept. 9

5:47 a.m., 27000 block County Road 21, Detroit Lakes, horse struck by a vehicle on the roadway. The horse was injured, but returned to the owner. The driver suffered no injuries

4:30 p.m., 1400 block Apex Court, Detroit Lakes, inappropriate sexual conduct involving a juvenile. The case is under investigation by Becker County Human Services.

6:09 p.m., 32000 block Strawberry Court, Ogema, baggy found with a crystal substance and paraphernalia inside.

6:43 p.m., 31000 block 170th Street, Detroit Lakes, various hand power tools and a portable power saw stolen.

Friday, Sept. 10

8:42 a.m., near County Road 39 and Niemi Drive, Osage, motorcycle crash. The driver, a 52-year-old Bemidji man, was wearing a helmet and was alert, but bleeding from the nose and right leg. He was transported to a nearby medical clinic for additional treatment.

10:22 a.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.

12:09 p.m., 500 block Main Street, Ogema, check fraud. An unauthorized checking account was opened and four checks were written from the account. The case is under investigation.

1:27 p.m., 100 block 2nd Street, Audubon, shoplifting. Sunglasses valued at $20.

2:20 p.m., 1300 block Madison Avenue, Detroit Lakes, missing a set of keys after leaving for work. The caller believes a house guest may have stolen them. The case is under investigation.

2:55 p.m., 800 block Washington Avenue, Detroit Lakes, structure fire.

7:39 p.m., 800 block Washington Avenue, Detroit Lakes, vehicle damage. A fire hose damaged a vehicle.

11:23 p.m., 23000 block County Road 126, Callaway, suicide related. A male party was transported to a nearby medical clinic for evaluation.

Saturday, Sept. 11

6:46 a.m., near County Road 143 and Bruce Boulevard, Callaway, fatal single-vehicle rollover crash. Tammara Cherise Eischens, 33, of Ponsford, was pronounced dead at the scene.

10:03 a.m., near Mary Yellowhead Road, Ogema, officer involved pursuit. The vehicle was initially pulled over for a traffic violation. During the stop, the suspect fled their vehicle and their whereabouts are currently unknown. A suspect is known to law enforcement and the case is under investigation by the Becker County Sheriff’s Office. There is no perceived threat to the public from the individual, according to Becker County Sheriff Todd Glander.

4:49 p.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, theft.

5:05 p.m., 30000 block County Road 26, Rochert, single-vehicle rollover. No injuries were reported. The driver, a 42-year-old male, was arrested under suspicion of DUI.

11:59 p.m., 100 block West Lake Drive, Detroit Lakes, assault involving two-male parties. One man was transported to a nearby medical clinic for treatment. The case has been forwarded to the county attorney’s office for possible charges.

Sunday, Sept. 12

12:57 a.m., near County Road 29 and Highway 34, Detroit Lakes, vehicle pulled onto the side of the road with the engine running. The driver, a 20-year-old Fargo man, was reportedly drifting in and out of consciousness and was arrested for possible DUI.

3:23 p.m., 34000 block Highway 87, Frazee, home damage. Siding and other items were damaged from a home currently under construction.
