Thursday, May 27
1:44 a.m., 200 block Sunnyside Avenue, Ogema, domestic incident. One party admitted to slashing the other’s tires on their vehicle. The party was cited for damage to private property.
8:28 a.m., 25000 block Black Duck Trail, Ogema, canoe stolen.
9:08 a.m., 36000 block County Road 21, Ogema, multiple windows broken at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church.
9:18 a.m., 36000 block County Road 21, Ogema, White Earth Public Library burglarized. The library’s computer and printer were damaged in the incident.

10:09 a.m., at Detroit Lakes High School at 1301 Roosevelt Avenue, Detroit Lakes, a vehicle was scratched by a sharp object.
2:15 p.m., 40000 block County Road 34, White Earth, juvenile theft and vandalism of M&W Convenience Store.
10:47 p.m., 500 block Jennifer Street, Audubon, juvenile male runaway. The male contacted his sister via SnapChat, but still hasn’t returned to the residence.
Friday, May 28
12:45 a.m., near Acorn Lake, Frazee, pursuit. One arrest made.
9:16 a.m., 500 block Main Street, Audubon, welfare fraud.
10:08 a.m., at Detroit Lakes High School at 1301 Roosevelt Avenue, a student was transported to a nearby medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries after ingesting an unknown substance.
1:10 p.m., 28000 block Warnake Road, Detroit Lakes, bonfire spread to surrounding area. Fire extinguished before first responders arrived.
1:26 p.m., 40000 block County Road 34, Ogema, baggy found with suspected methamphetamine.

1:48 p.m., 19000 block County Road 47, Osage, welfare fraud.
5:54 p.m., 35000 block 250th Avenue, Ogema, Publisher’s Clearing House fraud. No information given.
9:17 p.m., 48000 block County Road 26, Ponsford, ditch fire spreading to tree line.
10:24 p.m., 44000 block Schoolhouse Road, Osage, fire spreading into wooded area.

Saturday, May 29
2:57 a.m., 25000 block Brandy Lake Boulevard, Detroit Lakes, two parties involved in an assault. No medical attention needed. No arrests made.
10:47 a.m., near Highway 87 and 590th Avenue, Menahga, brush pile burning. Fire extinguished.
11:04 a.m., 200 block Stone Creek Drive, Detroit Lakes, garage door damage.
6:06 p.m., 48000 block County Road 26, Ponsford, trees on fire.

Sunday, May 30
10:26 a.m., 300 block Langford Street, Detroit Lakes, vehicle broken into. Driver side door was pried open. Unknown items missing.
4:14 p.m., 400 block Oak Hills Drive, Detroit Lakes, driver failed to put a vehicle fully in park in a driveway. Vehicle rolled down the driveway and damaged a neighbor’s garage door.
5:46 p.m., near Highway 34, Becker County, boat in distress. Boat towed by a fellow boater. No injuries.
6:52 p.m., near Floyd Lake, Detroit Lakes, boat with expired registration tags, no fire extinguisher and no visible floatation throwable.
9:29 p.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.

11:29 p.m., 1200 block Jackson Avenue, Detroit Lakes, domestic assault. No medical attention needed. One arrest made.
Monday, May 31
9:19 a.m., 16000 block County Road 6, Lake Park, leaf fire in the park. Lake Park firefighters extinguished the blaze.

12:54 p.m., 900 block Longview Lane, Detroit Lakes, phone scam. Victim called daughter and didn’t give the scammer any information.
2:58 p.m., 37000 block Elbow Lake Road, Waubun, rollover all-terrain vehicle accident. Driver suffered an open-arm fracture. They were transported, via airlift helicopter, to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
5:40 p.m., near Detroit Lake, Detroit Lakes, no visible flotation throwable and expired registration tags on a boat.
6:05 p.m., near County Road 47, Osage, power company employees mowed, and cut, bushes and trees on a property.
7:11 p.m., near Toad Lake, Osage, no visible floatation throwable.
7:36 p.m., 30000 block 179th Street, Detroit Lakes, suspected methamphetamine use and possession by an individual.
8:53 p.m., 38000 block County Road 34, Ogema, single vehicle crash. A witness saw the driver leave the scene running. Vehicle was discovered to be stolen.
Tuesday, June 1
4:48 a.m., near Highway 10 and County Road 5, Lake Park, hit-and-run crash involving two vehicles. One vehicle was rear ended, the driver reported a neck injury and was treated at the scene. The offending vehicle was found abandoned in Clay County and had been reported as stolen.

5:42 a.m., 25000 block Bear Clan Drive, Ogema, kitchen fire. Fire extinguished by the caller, but the affected area continued to smoke.
7:47 a.m., near Holmes Street and West Avenue, Detroit Lakes, syringe found in the roadway.
8:23 a.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes shoplifter.
8:49 a.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes shoplifter.
8:52 a.m., 200 block 11th Avenue, Detroit Lakes, package theft.
11:38 a.m., 1200 block Washington Avenue, Detroit Lakes, vehicle-pedestrian collision. Victim treated at the scene.
12:10 p.m., near Leaf Lake, Lake Park, trailer damaged while loading a boat.
12:15 p.m., 36000 block Hubble Pond Road, Rochert, suicidal individual. The party was treated with medication and taken to a nearby medical clinic.

12:57 p.m., 100 block Wisconsin Street, Callaway, fraud.
2:54 p.m., 26000 block Whiskey Creek Drive, Detroit Lakes, trail camera theft. Crop damage was also reported.
3:54 p.m., 800 block East Central Street, Detroit Lakes, apartment burglarized. Multiple keys taken and coin-laundry boxes emptied.
6:57 p.m., 400 block south Shore Drive, Detroit Lakes, gas leak reported. Residents reported safe.
9:12 p.m., near County Road 21 and Evergreen Shores Road, Detroit Lakes, domestic assault. One party received medical attention. No arrests made.
11:02 p.m., 300 block Eagle Street, Audubon, house fire. All residents evacuated safely. The residence was a total loss and the occupants were relocated to a hotel via the Salvation Army voucher program.
Wednesday, June 2
7:10 a.m., 300 block Eagle Street, Audubon, house burglarized. Unknown items missing.
11:49 a.m., 2000 block 2nd Street, Lake Park, phone scam.
11:57 p.m., 35000 block Eagle View Road, Ogema, scam. Caller claims loss of unknown amount of money.
1:30 p.m., 100 block 2nd Street, Audubon, work laptop stolen from vehicle at the gas station.
2:10 p.m., 500 block Robin Street, Audubon , Joseph Marlyn Boyle, 43, of Foley, Minn., was pronounced dead at the scene when his semi-truck was found touching a power line.
5:36 p.m., 15000 block Buckhorn Road, Lake Park, phone and internet hacked. Caller reported two bank accounts were compromised and froze them.
9:54 p.m., Menard’s at 1465 Menard Drive, Detroit Lakes, shoplifter.
