Crime and fire report: Church burglarized in Ogema; prisoner under house arrest cuts monitor, escapes in Audubon
On Wednesday, May 26 at 9:34 p.m., on the 35000 block of County Road 21, Ogema, White Earth Assembly of God was burglarized by four suspects. A witness said they believed four juveniles broke the church windows and entered the building. Unknown if items are missing. Case is under investigation by the White Earth Police Department. Also, on Tuesday, May 25 at 1:02 a.m., on the 400 block of 4th Street, Audubon, Alexander Paul Robare, 24, an inmate serving a sentence for a felony protection order violation under home confinement, cut his ankle tracking monitor and remains at large. Robare is 6-foot, 1-inch and weighs approximately 190 pounds.

Tuesday, May 25
12:58 a.m., at Orton’s Cenex Convenience Store at 129 2nd Street, Audubon, robbery. Cash and cigarettes stolen. White male suspect described as 6-foot, 200 pounds. Two clerks were unharmed.
1:02 a.m., 400 block Fourth Street, Audubon, escaped inmate. Alexander Paul Robare, 24, cut off his ankle tracking monitor and remains at-large. Robare is 6-foot-1-inch tall and 190 pounds. He was serving a sentence under home confinement for a felony protection order violation in Beltrami County.
6:57 a.m., 300 block Pelican River Road, Detroit Lakes, bicycle stolen from a garage.
9:16 a.m., 36000 block County Road 21, Ogema, child care program store burglarized. Various items missing.
10:47 a.m., Becker County, mother reported the assault of her juvenile daughter.
10:50 a.m., 11000 block 260th Avenue, Detroit Lakes, swamp fire.
12:47 p.m., 100 block Veteran’s Memorial Parkway, Detroit Lakes, firearm stolen from a purse while the employee was at work.
12:48 p.m., near County Road 111, Becker County, vehicle pursuit. The driver, the vehicle’s sole occupant, fled into the woods. One arrest was made.
3:40 p.m., near Eighth Street, Detroit Lakes, violation of a protection order. One arrest made.

Wednesday, May 26
12:31 a.m., 35000 block County Road 21, Ogema, domestic assault. Victim denied medical attention. No arrest made.
1:56 p.m., 300 block 11th Avenue, Detroit Lakes, laptop, and other electronics, stolen by a house guest.
4:16 p.m., 10000 County Road 29, Frazee, unauthorized work-related cell phone use.
5:56 p.m., Dollar General, 2092 South 2nd Street, Lake Park, shoplifting.
5:57 p.m., Walmart, 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, stolen item was attempted to be returned to the store fraudulently.
7:25 p.m., near North Shore Drive and Lincoln Avenue, Detroit Lakes,
