Crime and fire report: Domestic assault in Frazee with minor injuries; motor vehicle thefts in Lake Park and Ogema

On Tuesday, June 22 at 3:57 a.m., on the 600 block of 2nd Street, Frazee, a male claimed, while he was sleeping, he was attacked by his girlfriend with a weapon. The parties were separated and treated for minor injuries at the scene. Two arrests were made in the incident. Also, on Wednesday, June 23, a 2001, silver Chevrolet Silverado with welding equipment was stolen in Lake Park and a 2003, silver Ford Escape was stolen from a residence in Ogema. Law enforcement is investigating two suspects in the Ogema case.

Monday, June 21

8:33 a.m., 20000 block 400th Avenue, Frazee, two small-caliber bullet holes were found in a topper with the windows shot out and the windows were also broken on a white vehicle nearby.

8:42 a.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.

9:09 a.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.

8:56 a.m., 31000 block 150th Street, Frazee, fraud. Case is under investigation.

9:45 a.m., 1000 block First Street, Lake Park, inside security door damaged at an apartment.

12:30 p.m., near County Road 34 and Lynx Lane, Ogema, hit and run involving two vehicles.

4:30 p.m., near West Lake Drive and Muskrat Lake, Detroit Lakes, boat damage caused by a piece of metal sticking up in the water.

6:04 p.m., 1100 block Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, last Saturday, two females were fighting on the Holiday Inn boat dock.

Tuesday, June 22

3:57 a.m., 600 block 2nd Street, Frazee, physical domestic incident. Both parties separated. A male claims he was attacked while he was sleeping by his girlfriend who had a weapon. Minor injuries were reported.; two arrested.

8:40 a.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.

8:42 a.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.

4:16 p.m., 39000 block County Road 158, Waubun, package theft from a residence.

6:48 p.m., 29000 block 465th Avenue, Ponsford, one party claims they were punched in the face. The individual denied medical treatment. Law enforcement didn’t notice any marks or bruising.

8:00 p.m., 800 block Rossman Avenue, Detroit Lakes, PayPal account hacked. No money was exchanged.

Wednesday, June 23

8:44 a.m., 28000 block County Road 7, Lake Park, motor vehicle theft. A 2001, silver Chevrolet Silverado with welding equipment.

9:00 a.m., 2000 block 2nd Street, Lake Park, possible theft from Casey’s General Store. Multiple witnesses observed many Casey’s boxes processed by an individual. The case is under investigation.

11:23 a.m., 1000 block West Lake Drive, Detroit Lakes, a 6-gallon, plastic gas can was stolen from a boat.

12:50 p.m., 38000 block County Road 34, Ogema, motor vehicle theft. A 2003, silver Ford Escape was stolen from a family member’s residence. Law enforcement is investigating two suspects in the case.

9:36 p.m., 25000 block 353rd Circle, Ogema, domestic incident. Caller said their niece is beating on her boyfriend. The parties were separated. No arrests were made and no medical attention was needed.
