The following reports were compiled from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office and Detroit Lakes Police Department from an official with knowledge of the cases, unless otherwise noted.
Thursday, Aug. 26
7:27 a.m., 1300 block Long Avenue, Detroit Lakes, multiple unlocked vehicles were rummaged through. Cash and other miscellaneous items were taken.
1:13 p.m., at the Boys and Girls Club Thrift Store at 1305 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.
1:19 p.m., 700 block Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, a syringe was found.
10:06 p.m., 27000 block Pearl Circle, Detroit Lakes, social security fraud. Money was sent to the scammer via parcel. Multiple thousands of dollars were sent, but the exact total is unknown. Law enforcement is tracking the package to its destination.

Friday, Aug. 27
10:48 a.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, scam attempt involving gift cards.
2:39 p.m., 25000 block County Road 22, Detroit Lakes, burning tree stumps while a county burn ban is in effect. Fire extinguished.
3:42 p.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.
5:15 p.m., near West Lake Drive, Detroit Lakes, campfire while a county burn ban is in effect. Fire extinguished.
6:43 p.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.
8:30 p.m., 600 block 9th Street, Frazee, physical domestic involving a male and female. The man was arrested. No medical attention needed.
9:54 p.m., 36000 block Mission Road, Ogema, possible overdose. Narcan was administered. The patient refused additional treatment.
Saturday, Aug. 28
8:02 a.m., 11000 block West Lake Ida Lane, Lake Park, single left the roadway and struck a trailer lift holding a pontoon. Damage was done to the pontoon.

2:24 p.m., 12000 block County Road 29, Frazee, scammer claiming to be from Microsoft requested information from the caller. The caller provided the personal information before realizing it was a scam.
3:13 p.m., 600 block West Main Street, Detroit Lakes, possible backyard theft. A battery, garbage cans and buckets are missing.
Sunday, Aug. 29
3:03 a.m., at the VFW at 120 West Main Street, Frazee, an officer noticed patrons were still in the bar and patio area after 2:30 a.m.
11:24 a.m., near Highway 59 and Highway 34, Detroit Lakes, domestic incident involving a mother and adult son. While the son was driving, the mother backhanded the son. The son pulled over on the side of the road to kick the mother out and she dumped soda on him as she left the vehicle. No medical needed. No arrests.
12:40 p.m., near County Road 6 and YMCA Lane, Lake Park, single vehicle rollover. The driver, a 77-year-old male of rural Lake Park, suffered an apparent arm injury and was transported to a nearby medical clinic.
1:05 p.m., 14000 block YMCA Lane, Lake Park, brush fire.
2:07 p.m., near Mashkiki Street, Ponsford, all-terrain vehicle crash. An 8-year-old fell off an ATV and suffered a gash on their forehead after their helmet had fallen off.
2:32 p.m., at Menards at 1465 Menard Drive, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.

4:53 p.m., 24000 block Washington Drive, Osage, vehicle fire. The car was fully engulfed. Carsonville firefighters responded. Fire extinguished after about 30 minutes. No injuries.
6:30 p.m., at the Becker County Jail at 1428 Stony Road, Detroit Lakes, possible drugs found on a female inmate.
7:21 p.m., 13000 block Pearl Lake Drive, Detroit Lakes, small campfire while a county burn ban is in effect. Fire extinguished.
