The following reports were compiled from incident reports at the Becker County Sheriff’s Office and Detroit Lakes Police Department:

Thursday Oct. 22

At 12:22 p.m., the theft of a 4-foot step stool and nine LED light bulbs was reported on the 19000 block of County Road 25, Detroit Lakes, apparently taken by a renter, who moved out.

At 12:55 p.m., five separate residences reported the theft of DFL candidate political signs on the 1500 block of East Shore Drive, Detroit Lakes.

At 6:30 a.m., Main Street Restaurant in Detroit Lakes, reported a burglary. Money was taken from the restaurant.

At 8 a.m., a Trump political yard sign was stolen on the 1200 block of Richard Avenue, Detroit Lakes.

At 8:38 a.m., a log splitter valued at $1,000 was stolen on the 39000 block of Highway 113, Waubun. Tracks led to the road.

At 1:21 p.m., a political sign was stolen on the 1300 block of Roosevelt Avenue, Detroit Lakes.

At 3:12 p.m., a Biden/Harris political yard sign was stolen on the 1300 block of South Shore Drive, Detroit Lakes.

At 5:42 p.m., missing personal items were reported stolen from a parked vehicle on the 1100 block of Riverview Road, Detroit Lakes.

Saturday Oct.24

At 1:34 p.m., on the 15000 block of County Road 11, Audubon, broken signs were reported at the end of the driveway.

Sunday Oct. 25

At 10:39 a.m., on the 15000 block of County Road 11, Audubon, a political yard sign was reported stolen.

At 4:12 p.m., in the Naytahwaush-area, Mahnomen, logging equipment was tampered with and fuel was reported stolen.

At 6:57 p.m., on the 800 block of East Central Street, Detroit Lakes, tickets were issued for drug paraphernalia, and obstruction.

Monday Oct. 26

At 5:12 a.m., on the 20000 block of County Road 131, Detroit Lakes, a house being remodeled was engulfed in flames. The resident started the furnace on Sunday. Investigators believe the fire started on the west side of the residence near the area of the furnace.

At 9:10 a.m., on the 800 South Washington Avenue, Detroit Lakes, a garage door was damaged in an attempted break-in. No entry was gained.

At 12:57 p.m., on the 19000 block of 300th Street, Callaway, steel was stolen from a residence.

At 1:12 p.m., at the Strawberry Lake Store, Ogema, a stolen federal stimulus check was cashed.

At 2:54 p.m., at Central Market, Detroit Lakes, a shoplifter was reported.

At 5:40 p.m., on the 300 block of Pelican River Road, Detroit Lakes, a garage was burglarized. Various items were missing.
