The following reports were compiled from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office and Detroit Lakes Police Department from an official with knowledge of the cases, unless otherwise noted.
Monday, July 12
8:23 a.m., at Detroit Lakes High School at 1301 Roosevelt Avenue, Detroit Lakes, a pneumatic roller was started, moved, used, became stuck and abandoned at the construction site. The roller is now inoperable and the case is under investigation.
11:29 a.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifter.
11:43 a.m., 2000 block 2nd Street, Lake Park, garage burglarized. Steering wheel cover for a Volkswagen Beetle stolen.
12:50 p.m., near East Main Street and South Lake Street, Frazee, two-vehicle crash. The driver of one vehicle said their brakes failed. One person was transported to a nearby medical clinic for treatment of minor injuries.

1:34 p.m., 400 block Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, a counterfeit bill was passed to a business.
1:43 p.m., 40000 block County Road 126, Rochert, assault involving a juvenile. Caller claims their ex-father-in-law grabbed their son. The incident occured within the last week and no marks were found on the victim. The case is under investigation.
2:16 p.m., 21000 block 300th Street, Callaway, chemical spray drifting onto a property from a neighboring corn field.
2:23 p.m., 23000 block County Road 44, Osage, mineral oil leaked from a substation. The material was cleaned up and placed in a 50-gallon drum.
5:38 p.m., 100 block West Main Avenue, Frazee, check fraud. Caller claims fraudulent checks were issued from a company account. No losses were reported.
6:15 p.m., 27000 block County Road 21, Detroit Lakes, baggy found with an unknown substance inside.

Tuesday, July 13
7:47 a.m., 36000 block Marten Drive, Ogema, passenger side window of a van broken after sitting parked in the street for a week. Portable battery booster stolen.
8:30 a.m., near Lake Street, Lake Park, office door near the swimming pool pried open. Shampoo was stolen from the office.

10:27 a.m., 200 block Minnesota Avenue, Detroit Lakes, motor vehicle theft. A white, 2001 Jeep Gladiator was stolen.
2:57 p.m., 25000 block Brolin Beach Road, Detroit Lakes, unemployment claim fraud.
5:34 p.m., 16000 block Sugar Island Road, Audubon, fishing poles and tackle stolen from a docked boat.
Wednesday, July 14
9:15 a.m., near Washington Avenue, Detroit Lakes, a black tri-fold wallet was lost.
9:35 a.m., 26000 block Floyd Lake Point Road, Detroit Lakes, deck furniture stolen. Eight chairs, one big table and one small table with an estimated value of $6,500 are missing.
10:14 a.m., 31000 block County Road 35, Ponsford, 23-year-old White Earth man found deceased. An investigation has been opened and remains ongoing. Law enforcement does not believe there is any threat to the public.
10:21 a.m., 800 block Washington Avenue, Detroit Lakes, theft of services. An electrical box was damaged when a suspect broke open the box and turned-on electrical power to a commercial business which had been disconnected by the power company.
12:37 p.m., near Highway 34 and Pelican River Road, Detroit Lakes, motorized scooter crash. A girl was injured after losing control of the scooter on the roadway. No other vehicles were involved in the crash and the girl was transported to a nearby medical clinic for treatment.

1:47 p.m., 1200 block 8th Street, Detroit Lakes, clothing, debit card and mobile phone stolen from a residence.
4:11 p.m., 40000 block Lyman Lakes Road, Detroit Lakes, flat screen television, guitar and other items stolen.
4:49 p.m., 1000 block South Washington Avenue, Detroit Lakes, hit and run involving two vehicles. A parked vehicle suffered minor damage.
5:49 p.m., near County Road 36 and 490th Avenue, Frazee, single vehicle rollover. Robert Frank Orlando Williamson, 37, of rural Frazee, was injured after being ejected from his vehicle. He was transported to a Fargo hospital with serious injuries.
8:26 p.m., 500 block East Main Street, Audubon, domestic assault. A 39-year-old woman suffered head injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. A 41-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
9:21 p.m., near Eagle Lake, Frazee, jet skis “tearing around” without lights on.
9:58 p.m., near Naytahwaush, stolen vehicle recovered.
