Thursday, June 3

2:26 a.m., 20000 block County Road 21, Detroit Lakes, domestic incident. One arrest was made.

7:38 a.m., 20000 block Toad Mountain Road, Osage, vehicle fire. Extinguished before first responders arrived.

7:47 a.m., near Park Lake Boulevard, Detroit Lakes, city park bathroom toilet dispensers vandalized.

9:39 a.m., 100 block Hawley Street, Lake Park, possible fraudulent home purchase. Caller believes the title holder doesn’t actually hold the deed to the property.

11:26 a.m., near Migizi Avenue, Ponsford, unauthorized purchases made.

7:57 p.m., 200 block Stone Creek Drive, Detroit Lakes, officer rescued, and released, a fawn trapped between a screen porch and a fence.

Friday, June 4

6:50 a.m., near Little Detroit Lake, Detroit Lakes, jet ski floating in open water with no rider.

10:24 a.m., at Menard’s at 1465 Menard Drive, Detroit Lakes, shoplifter.

10:34 a.m., 200 block East Frazee Street, Detroit Lakes, two identical payroll checks were cashed at a bank; under investigation.

11:45 a.m., 500 block West Willow Street, Detroit Lakes, rock broke a window while mowing the grass.

1:22 p.m., 38000 block County Road 34, Ogema, car windows broken.

6:53 p.m., 1000 block Washington Avenue, Detroit Lakes, mobile phone stolen from a vehicle.

Saturday, June 5

8:15 a.m., 15000 block Blackhawk Road, Lake Park, bent property line marker.

12:07 p.m., 29000 block Highway 34, Detroit Lakes, mailbox damage.

2:00 p.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, vehicle damage.

2:06 p.m., near Detroit Lake, Detroit Lakes, an anchor, chain, line and buoy close to shore near Zorbaz. Caller’s boat was tangled in the line and needed to cut it loose.
5:00 p.m., 39000 block County Road 34, Ogema, grill fire. Extinguished before first responders arrived.

5:01 p.m., 900 block West Lake Drive, Detroit Lakes, drug paraphernalia found and destroyed.

5:57 p.m., 900 block South Washington Avenue, Detroit Lakes, cellphone stolen.

7:14 p.m., near Highway 59 and County Road 6, Detroit Lakes, pursuit for failure to stop.

Sunday, June 6

7:54 a.m., 26000 block County Road 26, Callaway, single vehicle crash. One occupant was transported to a nearby medical clinic with minor injuries.

12:30 p.m., 25000 block East Cozy Cove Road, Detroit Lakes, power pole fuse blew. Started the pole on fire.

1:28 p.m., 500 block Balsam Avenue, Frazee, vehicle stolen. A 2004 Dodge Durango was stolen and found in Otter Tail County. Case is under investigation.

5:38 p.m., near the Detroit Lakes City Beach, Detroit Lakes, personal watercraft riding too close to beach.

7:07 p.m., 12000 block County Road 15, Detroit Lakes, compost site on fire near town hall.

9:26 p.m., 25000 block 260th Street, Callaway, stolen trailer. Caller has video of the theft; under investigation.

Monday, June 7

3:56 a.m., 29000 block 465th Avenue, Ponsford, vehicle on fire in a roadside ditch. Driver fled the scene before first responders arrived.

9:28 a.m., 2000 block 290th Avenue, Detroit Lakes, cat missing. Cat is gray with a white underbelly.

10:46 a.m., 1400 block East Shore Drive, Detroit Lakes, single vehicle rollover. No injuries.

11:42 a.m., 1700 block North Tower Road, Detroit Lakes, illegal dumping.

11:52 a.m., 27000 block County Road 141, Detroit Lakes, bicycle stolen from a shed. The bike was a black, Trek Marlin, 21-speed.

2:21 p.m., 100 block Eagle Drive, Ogema, vehicle damaged. Hood was kicked and dented, and a front tire was punctured.

Tuesday, June 8

2:03 a.m., 24000 block Riverside Road, Detroit Lakes, power line down and sparking in the trees.

3:09 a.m., 100 block 4th Street, Frazee, no contact order violation. One arrest made.

3:11 a.m., 600 block West Main Street, Detroit Lakes, house fire. Fire is believed to have been caused by a lightning strike.

7:28 a.m., 17000 block South Big Cormorant Road, Audubon, personal watercraft disabled; towed onto shore.

7:37 a.m., 17000 block 344th Avenue, Frazee, Publisher’s Clearing House scam.

10:03 a.m., 300 block Cardinal Place, Detroit Lakes, package theft.

10:58 a.m., 400 block 2nd Street, Ogema, gas pump drive off.

12:13 p.m., 21000 block Skarie Road, Detroit Lakes, vehicle rummaged through. Electrical box damaged at a residence. Fuses stolen. The case is under investigation.

1:08 p.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.

4:30 p.m., 25000 block TWP Road 81, Detroit Lakes, contractor fraud. Caller claims an unlicensed contractor did a bad tile job in their shower.

4:40 p.m, 1100 block West Avenue, Detroit Lakes, television stolen from residence.

5:56 p.m., 1000 block 1st Street, Lake Park, household item theft. While the caller was in the hospital, they lent a key to the residence to a friend to pick up some items. Caller noticed more items were missing when they arrived home.

6:53 p.m., near mile marker 37 on Highway 10, Becker County, grass fire in the median. Extinguished by a motorist before first responders arrived.

Wednesday, June 9

7:47 a.m., 26000 block Rattle Snake Circle, Waubun, phone stolen at Lake’s Sport Shop. Phone was located at an Ogema residence. The case is under investigation.

10:22 a.m., 100 block North Lake Street, Frazee, possible sexual conduct; under investigation.

2:10 p.m., near County Road 39 and County Road 36, Audubon, grass fire.

4:10 p.m., 28000 block Paula Street, Detroit Lakes, mail fraud attempt.
