The following reports were compiled from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office and Detroit Lakes Police Department from an official with knowledge of the cases, unless otherwise noted.

Thursday, Aug. 12

8:59 a.m., 14000 block County Road 1, Lake Park, a 34-year-old male was reported as missing. The man left work at the Cenex in Lake Park on Tuesday at 5 p.m., and hasn’t been seen since.

1:49 p.m., 300 block Frazee Street, Detroit Lakes, wallet stolen out of a cart at Central Market.

6:21 p.m., 36000 block County Road 34, Ogema, hit-and-run involving a vehicle and two pedestrians. A 56-year-old man and a 31-year-old man were found in the roadway by a passerby and flown to a medical clinic in Fargo with serious injuries; under investigation.

7:16 p.m., White Earth, a 2002 Buick LeSabre was stolen.

7:35 p.m., 39000 block County Road 34, Ogema, garbage fire.

9:12 p.m., 2600 block Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, storage unit burglarized. Unknown if any items are missing.

Friday, Aug. 13

3:42 a.m., 500 block Washington Avenue, Detroit Lakes, assault. Party assaulted in a parking lot. No medical needed. One arrest was made.

7:01 a.m., 400 block 2nd Street, Ogema, small baggy found with a crystal-like substance inside.

9:30 a.m., 100 block Hawley Street, Lake Park, juvenile male runaway.

10:11 a.m., 46000 block Nokomis Drive, Ponsford, alleged inappropriate sexual conduct. The case is under investigation.

10:38 a.m., near Lake Avenue and Forest Street, Detroit Lakes, vandalism. Blue spray paint on surfaces in People’s Park.

11:48 a.m., 21000 block Highway 10, Audubon, vehicle fire. A passerby put out the blaze with an extinguisher.

12:18 p.m., 1400 block Lori Avenue, Detroit Lakes, residence vandalized. A mayonnaise and ketchup mixture was smeared on a house.

12:44 p.m., 1500 block Gary Avenue, Detroit Lakes, vehicle vandalized with a condiment mixture.

1:10 p.m., near 2nd Street, Lake Park, less than five gallons of diesel fuel spilled. The fuel was covered with an absorbent material.

1:54 p.m., 500 block 11th Avenue, Detroit Lakes, the dugout door to the baseball field at the middle school was damaged.

2:46 p.m., 39000 block County Road 34, Ogema, grass fire.

3:00 p.m., near Village Drive and Church Lane, Waubun, parked vehicle damaged.

3:13 p.m., 30000 block Carefree Lane, Frazee, caller purchased Minnesota Twins tickets and never received them.

4:19 p.m., 100 block Roosevelt Avenue, Detroit Lakes, various debit, credit and ID cards left at Casey’s General Store turned over to the police department. Officers will attempt to locate the card holders and will destroy the remaining cards after 60 days.

4:53 p.m., Becker County, alleged inappropriate sexual conduct; under investigation.

6:53 p.m., 36000 block south west Height of Land Drive, Rochert, three mailboxes damaged.

9:02 p.m., 29000 block Tageto Road, Ogema, alcohol stolen from a camper. Caller believes the suspect may have spent a few nights in the camper.

Saturday, Aug. 14

11:21 a.m., 36000 block County Road 21, Ogema, physical assault involving a minor. No medical attention needed; one arrested.

11:27 a.m., at Walmart at 1583 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, shoplifting.

1:21 p.m., near County Road 32 and County Road 25, Detroit Lakes, camper missing, 1979 Skylark trailer.

2:15 p.m., near Pow Wow Grounds, Pine Point, grass fire.

8:14 p.m., 1300 block Minnesota Avenue, Detroit Lakes, unauthorized use of a debit card.

9:58 p.m., 22000 block north east Pickerel Lake Road, Detroit Lakes, fireworks.

Sunday, Aug. 15

6:57 a.m., near County Road 112, Waubun, single vehicle crash. The vehicle was flipped on its roof and appeared abandoned.

8:23 a.m., 600 block Holmes Street, Detroit Lakes, bicycle theft.

10:17 a.m., 34000 block 336th Avenue, Ogema, domestic incident. Caller alleges nearly being run over by a vehicle on purpose. Minor head injuries; under investigation.

12:51 p.m., 30000 block Tageto Road, Ogema, burglary. Screen missing to a residence. Food and beer stolen. This is the second time the property has been burglarized in two months.

2:57 p.m., near City Park, Detroit Lakes, keys found.

3:39 p.m., 400 block east Willow Street, Detroit Lakes, bicycle theft from a garage.

10:18 p.m., 1300 block Madison Avenue, Detroit Lakes, attempted break-in to an apartment laundry room. The suspect fled the scene.
